Today we are announcing a number of exciting evolutions for our Developer Community.

First of all, OpenPlug Studio (formerly OpenPlug ELIPS Studio) will now be available to developers free of charge with no feature limitations. The free tool is supplemented by a range of support services available on a subscription basis (more info in our Support pages).

The latest version of OpenPlug Studio released today supports this new business model and is immediately available for free download (registration required). Other new features available in this release include the support of JavaScript source files, thus making it even easier for web developers to reuse their skills to create native cross-platform apps.

We are also launching a Certified OpenPlug Solutions Provider Program focused on application development and developer training. More on this in a separate blog post.

Finally, you surely have noticed the fresh look of our website that aims to simplify interactions with you. We are for instance introducing a new page on which you are able to see all the Change Requests and fixes that we have in our backlog. Not only can you see them, but you can also vote for those that are important to you.
