ELIPS Studio 3 beta release is out. Our early developer program started, allowing its members to download ELIPS Studio 3 for free.

We'll present the product and announce its availability through the program at MAX 2009 in L.A.

Here we are. It’s there.

After more than a year of hard work, and massive reuse of all the assets and modules we’ve developed and shipped in our other products, after some months of work with our – very friendly – alpha users to get the product to a satisfying level of features and quality, the first beta version of ELIPS Studio 3 is out, available for download for free through our early developer program.

MAX09We’ve been invited as speaker by Adobe at this year’s MAX in Los Angeles; we’ll present this product, and announce the developer program (you can download the presentation done at MAX here). The show is actually on going right now as I write those lines, the presentation of ELIPS Studio 3 is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon L.A. time, Guilhem, Eric and Thomas from Open-Plug are there.
We decided to synchronize the availability of our Beta version and the start of our early developer program with the show.

A "beta program" to try it for free!

InvitationOur program allows its members to use ELIPS Studio for free, and do whatever they have in mind, including selling commercial applications they would design with it. The program is based on invitations: you can enter it if you receive one. We can provide those, and the members will be able, after some time, to provide some as well. Once you’re invited, you can login to this developer site, download the product, samples, documentations, etc.

As it’s the beginning of the beta phase, and in order to provide best possible support to our users, work on the issues they report and bring in the features that they will request, we decided to limit the number of users, and ramp it up little by little. Feel free to request an invitation to the program: when you ask for an invitation, you will enter into a kind of FIFO - first in, first on. We’ll process a good number of these requests each week, and your invitation will come for sure.

Now we’re very eager to see what our beta users will do with the product!
